Our Story
From a Little Collins Street back room to the national finals
Mystic Wild Empire started in 2016 as a five-person squad renting desks above a Little Collins Street café. We obsessed over frame data, comms, and clutch decision-making — and that obsession turned into a studio.
Today we operate a 40-seat training arena in the Melbourne CBD, develop original titles for PC and console, and run the city’s most talked-about LAN events. Everything we do is built around one belief: great players and great games are made, not born.

The first squad
Founded above a café on Little Collins Street with a single shared PC rig and a lot of caffeine.
- 2018
First national title
Our flagship roster took out the Oceanic Spring Invitational, putting Melbourne on the esports map.

Studio launch
Opened a 40-seat training arena and shipped our first commercially released indie title, "Ashfall Drift".

Launched monthly 256-player LAN nights and crossed 2,400 players through our coaching academy.

Coaching
We coach the major FPS, MOBA, and fighting game titles, including Valorant, CS2, League of Legends, and Street Fighter 6. If your game isn’t listed, get in touch — we likely have a specialist who can help.
Not at all. We coach everyone from first-time ranked players to semi-pros. Your coach builds a plan around your current level and goals, so beginners are genuinely welcome.
Arena & Events
Yes. Day passes are A$35 and give you access to all 40 battlestations from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week. Wednesdays include free coaching drop-in hours.
We do. Our events team produces everything from birthday LANs to full corporate tournaments, including rigs, staging, and live casting. Reach out for a tailored quote.
Development
Absolutely. We take projects from rough concept through prototype, production, and launch on Steam or console. Most engagements start with a paid scoping workshop to lock down the vision and budget.
You do. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, all intellectual property created for your project belongs to you on final payment. We can also discuss revenue-share arrangements for the right ideas.
